COLOUR TRAVEL
EFFECT COATINGS

for a unique visual experience
These are special visual effect products with an added creative touch to the colour of the coating. The special ingredients used impart a unique multi-colour effect to the coating whereby the perceived colour changes distinctly in hue depending on the viewing angle and direction of lighting, hence the name “Colour Travel”. Similar to a chameleon changing its colour.
Specific Feature Coatings
T Products–COLOUR TRAVEL EFFECT COATINGS
TECHNICAL DATA

COOL COATINGS

keeping temperatures down
These are exterior durable products with a special ability to keep external coated surfaces cooler than usual, due to its higher efficiency in reflecting away the infra-red component of the solar radiation that reaches it, as compared to regular coatings. Less heat is generated on the coated surface, hence a lower surface temperature. Results: a cooler building interior, therefore reducing energy costs for cooling of the interior. A feature of green buildings.
Specific Feature Coatings
CL Products – COOL COATINGS
TECHNICAL DATA
Specific Features:

  • Significantly higher Total Solar Reflectance, TSR Values (total amount of solar energy reflected by a surface material)
  • Very dark and black shades remain relatively cooler than regular coatings of corresponding shades. Dark shades absorb more heat energy and therefore benefit the most from the cool coating feature compared to light colours

  • Less heat generated on coated surface, with temperature reduction of between 5-12°C
  • Available in APR, APR/H&APX Superdurable Polyesters and HPD Hyperdurable Fluoropolymer grades

Gloss at 60°: Matt to high gloss, according to the chosen grade
Colour Range: Wide range, excluding certain high-chroma exotic colours. Blacks& dark shades benefit the most.
Powder Curing: 10–25mins @ 185–205°C, according to the chosen grade
Impact Resistance and flexibility: Good
Typical Uses: Architectural aluminium extrusion sand panels for facades and windows etc

ELECTROSTATIC DISSIPATIVE
(ESD) COATINGS

creating an electrostatic discharge-safe environment
Our powder coating products, available in various interior and exterior grades, specially designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD)-safe applications. They work by preventing static charge build-up on work-surfaces and equipment surfaces, thereby creating an ESD-safe environment around them. This is due to their low film surface electrical resistance resulting from the special formulation.
Specific Feature Coatings
ESD Products – ELECTROSTATIC DISSIPATIVE COATINGS
