Pre-treatment:

  • Cold-rolled steel, cast iron — Iron or zinc phosphatation
  • Galvanised steel, zinc alloy — Chromatation or zinc phosphatation
  • Aluminium alloys — Chromatation or approved chromium-free pre-treatment

Powder Application: Electrostatic spraying at 60-80 kV
Curing: 10 mins @ 200°C
Film Thickness: 60-80 um optimum
Adhesion: Excellent
Impact resistance and flexibility: Good

EPOXY PRIMER

FOR CORROSION RESISTANCE
Our epoxy powder coating primers for enhanced protection in aggressive environments. 2-coat or 3-coat systems consisting of one of these primers and suitable powder top-coats will have excellent corrosion resistance in demanding outdoor and indoor conditions.

Standard Primer E49

Semi-gloss, typically light medium grey shade. Can be used also as a single coat,
With very good chemical resistance, in various colour shades

Zinc-rich Primer E29/80290/CS3 (Zincoprime)

Semi-gloss, medium grey. Only for shot-blasted steel substrates.

Curing (as primer): Partial curing: 5 mins @ 180°C, followed by full curing of topcoat

EPOXY INSULATIVE COATING

FOR ELECTRICAL INSULATION
A functional epoxy powder coating specially formulated for the insulation of electrical items and components. With excellent insulative and mechanical properties, chemical resistance and very good flow-out.
